Martin Froud – Head of Franchisingmarla custom blinds team - martin
Key role: Business planning and development
Time in the business: 20 years

Martin has been in business since 1982. He and his wife Angela started Custom Blinds in 1995 and built the business themselves. The ‘Marla Custom Blinds’ brand evolved in 2008 when they commenced investing in developing the franchise model to give other like-minded people the opportunity to start their own Marla Custom Blinds local business. Martin has experience with every element of the business and will always offer sound help and advice.

Angela Froud – Accounts & Admin Supportmarla custom blinds team - angela
Key role: Accountancy software and administration support
Time in the business: 20 years

With 19 years of experience in the industry, Angela provides franchise owners with support on the critical business administration and accountancy systems. Both Angela and Martin are committed to providing the support you will need to help ensure you are successful with your local Marla Custom Blinds business. Receiving support from one of the business founders is of huge benefit to franchise owners.

Drew Mitchell – Technical & Product Supportmarla custom blinds team - drew
Key role: Advice and guidance on technical queries
Time in the business: 10 years

For any technical or product related queries, Drew has nearly a decade of experience with our products. His role means he has experience with manufacture, supply and installation of the complete range of products Marla Custom Blinds offer to residential, commercial and contract customers. Our franchise owners enjoy peace-of-mind that they have someone at the end of the phone who has most likely come across and solved any query they come across.

Daniel Froud – Sales & Marketing Supportmarla custom blinds team - danny
Key role: Advice and assistance with sales and marketing
Time in the business: 5 years

Starting as a manufacturing operative in 2012, Daniel has a worked his way up through the business and in 2014 started to be involved with sales and now handles all the residential, commercial and contract sales enquiries for the head office region. He has experience selling, surveying and pricing two or three blinds in a private home through to several hundred  blinds for a local authority. If as a franchise owner you are not too sure on the what products to offer a customer, what price to charge or any other sales related query, then Daniel is your port of call.
