Marla Team Gain Certification in Anti Ligature Products

At Marla Custom Blinds, we aim to keep up to date with the latest trends and developments.  Recently, three of our team attended a specialist training workshop on the Kestrel Anti-Ligature system, organised by Yewdale Corporation Ltd.

The training, which covered both the survey and installation of Kestrel anti-ligature products, was attended by Martin Froud, Marla’s MD, Sales Executive Danny Froud, and Drew Mitchell their production/installation manager.  We are a delighted to report that all three passed the end of course exam with flying colours.

The Kestrel Anti-Ligature system was originally designed to protect high risk individuals by minimising the risk of self-harm by suspension from curtain tracking.
Its patented magnetic load release fixing system offers a practical and elegant solution to the challenge of providing patients and staff with privacy and safety.  The Kestrel Anti-Ligature System now offers a range of safe shading & privacy solutions including curtain tracks, divider rails, roller blinds, and vertical blinds.

The training course took place in February 2016 at Yewdale’s UK HQ in Essex and included; how to survey a site for the installation of cubicle tracking, and how to install anti-ligature products to ensure they function properly.
