We are financially incentivised to help you make your business as successful as possible as the management service fee is a modest 4.5 percent of your sales, linked to your success, so the more successful you are, the more successful we are. As a result, the team at Marla Custom Blinds is set-up to support and guide you every step of the way in growing your business.

It’s likely that you will start as an owner operator, carrying out all the roles including sales, admin and fitting. But as the business grows you can employ your own support staff with a view to moving towards a multi-van/fitter business.

Whilst you can do it all, the roles within a Marla Custom Blinds business split neatly which makes it easy to have specialists in each area.

We can help you identify where your core skills and weaknesses lie, so you can recruit the most relevant support staff, which in turn allows you to focus on the parts of the business you do best. As a first step, you may have a particular strength in sales and require someone to do the fitting, or alternatively you may prefer completing the work yourself and employing a salesperson to win the business.

As the business grows you can add members of staff in relevant roles so you gradually step back from the day-to-day tasks. You’ll eventually reach a stage where you’re working on overseeing the business rather than working in it.
