Marla Custom Blinds (South Wales) franchisee, Joseph Anyaike, was recently selected to manufacture and install 45 blackout roller blinds for Cardiff Council’s innovative new housing development in Crofts Street, Plasnewydd.

A New Role for Dan Froud
To start with, we’re delighted to announce that Dan Froud, son of our founders Martin and Angela, has completed taking over the day-to-day sales and marketing of our core business.
Over the years, Dan has gained a huge amount of industry experience, and we’re confident his new role will see our operation go from strength to strength.
Dan is in the unique position of having seen all sides of our business from a young age. He has excelled in his role as our chief surveyor, and has always achieved his sales targets.
Having started in the factory and taken on most roles within the business, the management team of Marla Custom Blinds see him as the ideal and natural successor to his father.
Martin Froud to Lead The Franchise Team
Our operational changes will also mean that Martin Froud, our founder, will move sideways to become Head of Franchising. Martin is a seasoned industry professional, having started in business in 1982 and then gone on to establish Marla Custom Blinds with his wife Angela in 1995.
Having built the business from a start-up to the highly successful operation it is today, Martin is extremely well placed to help like minded franchise owners setup and grow their own profitable business, based on the proven Marla Custom Blinds model.
